Training Workshop: Writing for Culture Communications

Mümkün designed and conducted a workshop titled “What, How, To Whom: Writing for Culture Communications” for the CultureCIVICCapacity Building Program. Initiated by Goethe-Institut Istanbul, Anadolu Kültür, Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), Institut français de Turquie, and Danish Cultural Institute in Turkey, and in collaboration with the Embassy of the Netherlands in Turkey, CultureCIVIC is a European Union project that aims to foster civil society involvement in the field of arts and culture.CultureCIVIC: Kültür Sanat Destek Programı

The workshop, designed and led by İlkay Baliç and Emre Ayvaz, took place online on April 20-21, 2024.

The two-day workshop was attended by 40+ people from various cities in Turkey, all working the broad cultural field and aimed to improve the participants’ skills in translating ideas into writing, to raise their awareness of equality and inclusiveness in writing, to increase their capacity to look critically at texts and to support their competencies in considering different audiences.
